A New Beginning Animal Rescue (ANBAR) is a foster-based rescue focused on providing cats and dogs loving temporary homes while awaiting their forever homes. ANBAR primarily focuses on the Weber/Davis County region, but we also accept transfers from throughout northern Utah and surrounding states. Our goal is to reduce unnecessary euthanasia rates and improve animal welfare through community building and public education on the mutual benefits of spay/neutering your animals and responsible pet ownership.

Through our generous donors and amazing fosters, ANBAR is able to rescue severe medical cases and provide the assistance necessary for their survival. We believe that euthanasia should only be used as a humane last resort to prevent further animal suffering. ANBAR's ultimate mission is to give every rescue a new beginning. Every Saturday, A New Beginning Animal Rescue is hosting an adoption event from 12 to 4 at Petco in Layton, Utah. A dog or cat is waiting for you. Our team, consisting of all volunteers, works tirelessly to provide a home to as many rescues as possible. Our most urgent need is fostering, but you can help by donating to our organization or adopting one of these deserving little souls.
How to Make a Donation
to Help Our Animals
The most vulnerable members of our pet society are those that have no way to ask for our help — animals that are left to fend for themselves or are trapped in torturous conditions. But when you support A New Beginning Animal Rescue, you provide critical aid to these neglected animals. 100% of all donations go towards the animals, as we are a volunteer group.
To make a donation, either click the button below or visit us in person every Saturday from 12 pm to 4 pm at Petco in Layton, Utah, to make your donation in person. Every dollar you donate is a lifeline you provide to our animals. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any donation you can provide.
